The Other Sister

Hello Sud Sisters Family!

My name is Ashley and I am the middle sister of your favorite laundry duo. While you probably won’t see much of me washing or folding your laundry, I am super excited to be able to share some tips, tricks, funny family stories about what it was like growing up in a sisterhood, and laundry mishaps on the Sud Sisters Laundry Co website.

Before they were moms on a mission...

They were sisters breaking and entering into their overly busy other sister’s house to tackle doom piles of laundry. If you are anything like me, then one day of skipping laundry turns into restarting the washer and dryer one last time and making a promise to yourself that you will actually fold and put away the multi load pile on top of your kitchen table only to get overwhelmed and default to online shopping for new clothes instead. Who needs to wash clothes if you can just buy new one instead? I mean as long as no one comes over to my house, then they won’t be able to judge me for the piles of dirty clothes and clean clothes that at this point that might just need to be washed again. The truth is, that laundry has never been my thing. Despite all the ways that I have attempted to make it a fun game, I still LOATHE it entirely. I’ll tell you why… because you can never truly check laundry off of your to do list. It’s permanent. Always staring you in the face or in the back of your mind and even if you reach that glorious moment where every article of clothing in your house is clean, you probably need to wash your sheets, rugs, curtains, or you have a hidden pile of clothes that has accumulated in your car that was out of sight and out of mind.

I know, it could be worse...

God could have had me live in the day and age when they had to take the clothes down to the river and hand wring clothes before hanging them on the line to dry in the sun. I praise Him that He didn’t. But nevertheless, mundane tasks are hard for me to get done. Can I do laundry? Yes. Am I pretty particular about how I do my laundry? Also, yes.

Thankfully, Sud Sisters Laundry Co takes the struggle out of laundry day...

They pay close attention to the details of how I like my laundry to be done. It’s not just someone knocking out this tedious chore for me, it’s someone putting in the time to do my laundry the very way that I would, without the executive dysfunction take over. Peace of mind for me and clean clothes that save me from going to the store and buying more clothes that I don’t need.

Book with Sud Sisters today and check laundry off of your to do list for good!
